-Life and Education Before the War

Before the war, my life was centered around my education and personal development in Gaza, Palestine. I was deeply committed to academic excellence, which culminated in my high school graduation in 2023 with a GPA of 99.4, earning second place in the country. I began studying Business Administration at Al Azhar University, drawn to the field of UI/UX design.

During my schooling years, I actively sought opportunities for growth. I was part of the Hands Up Project, a British organization supporting young talents in Gaza, where I developed leadership skills and improved my English. In 2023, I completed a 2.5-month UI/UX design course, which deepened my interest in designing websites and apps, further shaping my career aspirations.

-My Experience Escaping the War

During the war, my home and my university were destroyed , we were displaced three times for different places. The main reason for our exit from Gaza is my mother because she is sick and suffers from kidney failure because she has lupus , When Al-Shifa Hospital stopped working, we had to exode to the south of the Strip in search of a hospital for my mother. We are now in Deir Al-Balah. The quality of the hospitals are very poor because of the war and there is no medicine that my mother needs,When the war escalated, everything changed. We had to flee from Gaza to Cairo, Egypt, leaving behind the life I knew and the plans I had carefully crafted. Escaping the conflict wasn’t just about leaving a physical location—it was about adapting to a completely new reality under extreme emotional stress. Being forced to continue my studies online while trying to process the trauma of war has been a profound challenge.

However, the experience has also taught me resilience and adaptability. I’ve had to navigate uncertainty while staying focused on my education, and this has only strengthened my determination to succeed.

-Why I Am Looking for a Job Now

I am now actively seeking employment because my family is facing significant financial difficulties. We cannot afford the cost of living in Cairo, especially as my mother is battling kidney failure. Her medical treatments are incredibly expensive, and I want to help ease the burden on my family. I’m determined to find a job not only to support myself but also to contribute to my family’s well-being during this difficult time.

My goal is to gain professional experience, particularly in UI/UX design, while helping my family manage these overwhelming expenses. This has become a deeply personal mission, and I am committed to doing everything I can to support my loved ones.
