Touch is so proud to represent UAE’s first female elite Emirati triathlete who has podiumed numerous times including qualifying for Asian Cup and Asian Games. She has become a source of inspiration to many young athletes in her field.
Hana Alnabulsi is an Emirati Elite Triathlete that competes for the UAE on a regional and international level. Hana, was the first female Emirati in the region to qualify and compete in the Asia Games in Triathlon and aims to go as far as the Olympics. One of her main drivers is to pave a pathway for women in the world of sport.
Hana was diagnosed with Dyslexia and ADHD at the age of 7 which she still struggles with today doing her daily tasks and triathlon training whilst dealing with challenges like short attention span, hyperactivity and impulse control. Wheverever things get tough, Hana pushes through remembering all the times when she was told as a child that she should ‘ never try, never do or will be never be able to do’ due to her developmental conditions and proves her nay sayers wrong.
Hana has never allowed anything or anyone to hold her back and uses sport to be her safe haven. Hana aims to excel as an elite athlete to show any kids with any disabilities that there are no limitations to their goals and normalize pursuing their dreams whatever their dreams may be.
Hana is now doing public speaking to share her story and journey when she is not training for her competitions.
