Alina Siddiqi is a Special Olympic gold medalist, and represents UAE in the sport of Artistic Gymnastics. Her accolades include a gold and bronze medal for Vault and All-round in the 2019 Special Olympic World Games (SOWG) in Abu Dhabi and two Silver medals for Vault and All-round in the 2023 SOWG in Berlin.
Alina is also a trained Health Messenger with UAE Special Olympics and advocates for healthy lifestyles for People of Determination.
Born and raised in Dubai, Alina has been successfully included in the mainstream school system, completing her GCSE’s in 2021. Alina’s says, “she may have Down Syndrome, but Down Syndrome does not have her!”.
Alina is a perfect example of fitness and fun. She enjoys weekly training sessions in Crossfit, Squash and Swimming with Touch Dubai; while continuing her gymnastics training with her UAESO coach.
Sports aside, Alina is a talented Artist, representing Touch, with her artwork on the CFF Panettone and ‘Canvas by MonViso’ projects. She also participates in musical theatre and is an extremely passionate dancer and singer. She aspires to be a model and walk the catwalk!

2) Learn to drive a car
3) Go to University
Her message to others is to stay fit, chose to include and make the impossible, possible!
